Simulating NaHS process

I'm gonna try my best to attempt to explain to the best of my knowledge haha

Hysys doesn't natively support NaHS as a component because it involves electrolyte systems that require specialized packages.

You might need to use an advanced property package like OLI or Aspen+ for accurate simulation...

Ah, classic HYSYS hiccup, yeah NaHS ain't in the built-in list, you can try adding it as a hypothetical component or switch to a more reactive property package, that's where folks slip up

NaHS isnt a predefined component in HYSYS, so thats why it doesn't show up. The easiest way is to model it as a pseudo-component or use a combination of Na+ and HS- species in an electrolyte package, making sure to define the reaction NaOH + H2S ⇌ NaHS + H2O in the reactions section.
