I just joined a chemical engineering project where we need to measure the electrical resistivity of a refrigerant, but it's in liquid for and under pressure. One of the lead chemists told us we should install valves to the top of our measurement cell to prevent liquid locks. I honestly don't have any experience with this and I'm not familiar with liquid locks. I'm hoping someone here can tell me how to do this setup, if there are other ways to prevent liquid locks, and just any other suggestion we can implement in our project. Insights greatly appreciated!
