Plastic case assembly

I designed a plastic case where the base plate snaps in, but I need something to chemically weld them together, what kind of glue or compound will keep this thing solid without coming apart?

You can try to use plastic specific solvents, they melt the plastic a bit to bind it together. Just know the type of plastic you're working on to get the correct one

Alrighty, I'll check out plastic solvents for the right type. I wasn't sure if they'd bond as solidly as epoxy

I think a strong twopart epoxy for plastics can work well. Clean the surfaces, apply carefully, clamp, and allow full cure time
