Working on a 200 BTU hot water loop and need some help with the chemical feed pot sizing and selection.Any tips on calculating the right size, or specific codes/standards I should be following? Your insights would be a huge help! Thanks!

Recommendations for best practices would be great too! thanks!
 
For a 200k BTU loop, size the chemical feed pot based on total system volume, so aim for around 1–2% of that.
 
For a 200 MBH loop, a pot feeder that holds 2 to 5 gallons should do the trick. It really depends on how much liquid is in your system and how much chemical you need to add. Just make sure it can handle your pressure and temperature, and that it's safe for the chemicals you're using.

A good tip is to pick a size that you won't have to refill all the time, but not so big that it just sits around empty.

Are you using a straightforward pot feed or a metering pump setup?
 
Chemical feed pot sizing usually depends more on system volume than just BTU, and a common rule of thumb is to size the pot to handle about 1 to 2% of total system water volume. For small to medium systems, a 2 to 5 gallon pot is typically enough
