ASPEN + Question

Hy everyone! Does anyone have faced the scenario of being simulating a plug flow reactor in ASPEN PLUS and after setting all the required values (components, methods, binary interactions, flowsheet, stream's settings, reaction kinetics, stoichiometry as well as operative conditions of the reactor it shows that the reaction is not taking place? Thanks in advanced.

Sorry for jumping in late. Make sure the reaction's in the right reactor block and that your kinetics basis (molar, mass, etc.) lines up with what you put in. Plus, double-check the temperature is where it should be.

Right, that usually happens when the reaction conditions or kinetics arent actually triggering in the model. Check your units, temperatures, pressures and feed composition, sometimes even a small mismatch can make ASPEN show no reaction.
