I just a started a project with a chemical plant that involves a significant amount of nitrogen in the process. We're working on stainless steel for the piping and vessels but I'm concerned about general compatibility. Anyone here has run into any unexpected issues or specific grades of stainless that we should be particularly cautious about in nitrogen service within a chemical plant setting? I want to double-check and make sure we're not overlooking any potential long-term effects or issues like any contaminants, leaks we should be aware of?
